EUROPEAN HISTORY SINCE 1600

Fall 2020, Spring 2021

This introductory survey course explores modern European history through changing identities: religious, national, class, gendered, racialized. We focus heavily on the 19th-21st centuries, including European empires, the Global Cold War, the rise of the EU, and conclude with Brexit.
