REFUGEE INDUSTRIALISTS,
BRITAIN'S "SPECIAL AREAS," AND REFUGEES FROM NAZISM, 1934-1945

This digital mapping project stems from my dissertation research.  The project maps refugee businesses throughout Britain's Special Areas in the 1930s and 1940s.  It also maps personal settlement in an effort to recreate the communities that refugees formed and analyze how these communities were disrupted by wartime conditions.  I continue to add data points and information to the project as I uncover more.  To explore the project, visit the interactive map here:  https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/c04a1a0d2897409d84ee2169cfb4f914 

REFUGEES FROM NATIONAL SOCIALISM IN WALES:  LEARNING FROM THE PAST FOR THE FUTURE

Contributor to the University of Aberystwyth's museum exhibition "Refugees from National Socialism in Wales:  Learning from the Past for the Future."  I created a map of the Treforest Trading Estate, showing the locations of Jewish refugee businesses during the Second World War.

U.K. HOLOCAUST MAPPING PROJECT

THE COLORADO LATINO HISTORY PROJECT
